Interior
This new edition of the Taycan Cross Turismo comes with a standard four-seat arrangement inside. You can add an available five-seat configuration with a smaller center seat in the back row. A standard panoramic sunroof helps the Cross Turismo give you a little more headroom in front and more space in the back seats than the sedan model. Thanks in part to this Cross Turismo's trunk in front, it has more rear cargo space than the sedan.
Design
There are 16 exterior colors to choose from for each trim level of the Taycan Cross Turismo. The four-door body design hints at the classic Porsche profile while incorporating new design innovations that increase its aerodynamic performance. Sculpted curves at the rear of the vehicle recall design choices echoing the 911's sporty and rounded bumper.
Philadelphia area drivers can choose to configure their interior space to accommodate either four or five passengers. The back seat can add a third passenger by creating a middle seat should buyers decide on that option. There's a front trunk for stowing items, a cubby space for rear passengers and over 15 cubic feet of space in the trunk area.
A panoramic sunroof is a standard feature on all trim levels, inviting plenty of sunshine into the interior while expanding the viewing enjoyment of rear seat passengers. Drivers can harness a full range of customization options to design a personalized interior that is as pleasing to the eye as it is comfortable for long road trips.
How much does it slow down as the charge wears out? Not one bit
All other "normal" EVs do what they're supposed to do: They slow down as the battery loses its power. That's only logical, right? But the Taycan Cross Turismo, of course, is a long way from "logical." Its speed and performance remain inexplicably consistent even as the battery charge wears out. Acceleration remains defiantly amazing. It's all made possible by complex Porsche engineering so let's leave that explanation for another time.
Charging and driving range
Nearly all electric vehicles have a driving range more limited than gas-powered vehicles. The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo EV follows that same pattern, with an expected range of about 200+ miles. But the good news is that charging times can, under the right circumstances, be faster than other EVs. At the high end, with a 5.8 kW 240-volt outlet at 30 amps, a 100% charge takes 14+ hours. But fast-charging can rise to 80% in about 23 minutes.
Fuel economy
The official "MPGe" rating for the Taycan Cross Turismo hasn't been published as of this writing, but industry experts expect the rating to be in the neighborhood of an astonishing 76 gas-equivalent miles per gallon. Trim Levels
There are four trim levels for the Taycan Cross Turismo, the 4, 4S, Turbo, and Turbo S. Each level of trim builds upon the last, adding power at every level jump along with extra luxury options such as an improved sound system. All trims keep certain configurations as standard, such as all-wheel drive, a two-speed transmission and a dual engine.
